प्रधानमंत्री ग्रामीण आवास योजना 2024 तक मंजूर
प्रधानमंत्री ग्रामीण आवास योजना को 1966 में पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री इंदिरा गांधी द्वारा ‘इंदिरा आवास योजना’ के नाम से लांच किया गया था। इस योजना में बेघर लोगों को आवास प्रदान किया जाता है। गरीबी रेखा से नीचे जीवन यापन करने वाले परिवारों को पक्के मकान बनाने के लिए 2 लाख रुपए तक की वित्तीय सहायता सरकार के द्वारा दी जाती है।
वर्ष 2015 में नरेंद्र मोदी सरकार ने इस योजना का दोबारा जीर्णोद्धार किया और 2022 तक सभी के लिए घर देने का लक्ष्य रखा, साथ ही इसका नाम बदलकर ‘प्रधानमंत्री ग्रामीण आवास योजना’ कर दिया गया।
प्रधानमंत्री ग्रामीण आवास योजना में नवंबर 2021 तक लगभग 1.65 करोड़ आवास पूरे किये गए हैं। आज हुई मीटिंग में इस योजना के तहत 2024 तक 2.95 करोड़ पक्के मकान देने का लक्ष्य रखा गया है।
अभी तक केंद्र सरकार ने प्रधानमंत्री ग्रामीण आवास योजना में 1.44 लाख करोड़ रुपए खर्च किए हैं। आज हुई बैठक में इस योजना के लिए 2.17 करोड रुपये से अधिक की मंजूरी दी गयी।
केन-बेतवा लिंक परियोजना को मंजूरी मिली
आज हुई मीटिंग में केन-बेतवा लिंक परियोना को मंजूरी दी गयी। इस परियोजना में केन और बेतवा नदियों को जोड़ा जाएगा। इसे 44,605 करोड़ की लगत से पूरा किया जाएगा। यह परियोजना अगले 8 सालों में पूरी की जायेगी।
